Things were a lot simpler today, the place with the statue was also the location of the water temple, so I killed two birds with one stone.
After finishing the water temple and getting he statue I went back to the hills to check out the book, which wasn't much use after all. Now I'm able though to continue on to the next temple in the mountains.
tomorrow I should find out what trouble lurks there.
