Split up, we can do more damage that way

So our group invaded the human ranch, where we made the unsettling discovery that the little stones that give people magic and can turn humans into monster are actually made out of people. Well, more accurately the humans are used as hosts for the stone till they are big enough to harvest, like a pearl in an oyster.

The we get cornered by the head of the factory and a hand full of guards. Considering that we easily took out every one of these places before (along with 3 elemental guardians), I figured these guys would not pose much more of a challenge, but the game seemd to have other ideas. So my group ran off like they couldn't stand a chance...

After finding the only remaining survivor to escape from the ranch, we found out about a secret entrance, and here's where things got tricky. Since the security of the place had to be turned off right before getting to the boss' room, the party split up into 2 parts, so I'm alternating between 2 parties of 3 to get through the place.

In the end it came down to a fight against the boss, and like I figured he didn't pose too much of a challenge.

Tomorrow it's off to try and find a way into the mana tower.
