Can't keep 8

Well the dwarf wasn't much help, but we did get directions to where to get the ore to make the charm our self. So after a small boat ride and a short trip through a cave we go back to the girl's town... only to have the girl help our Chose get kidnapped.

In her defense, she was in her spaced out state and controlled by the creepy evil guy. The charm works though and she reverts to sort of normal, and I find out that when her father got sick she volunteered for magical experimentation to make her strong enough to continue his work as a lumberjack. The side effect of it though is that it turned her into a robot piratically, so she kept working even after her father died of his illness. Also, she apparently never aged, so I have no idea how old she really is (anywhere from 20-50 at least).

In order to get our Chosen back, we go to the ninja village again to learn that they found the world hopping bikes, but to power them we need to make a pact with the lightning spirit. After a long puzzle filled shrine we face off against the spirit, but only after a cut scene where the ninja's little summoned animal sacrifices it's self to save her. This act, while noble, is pointless since in the same scene the hero can simply deflect the same attack with his sword, and there not all that powerful in battle.

After making the pact wit the spirit it's revealed that not only can we summon it now, but having a spirit from both words breaks the mana balance between them. So now as long as I keep collecting spirits it should solve the problem of the words fighting over mana!

Next stop tomorow is the bad guy's base where our world hopping bikes are hidden.
