Persona 4 - Day 7

May 6th

On the way to school Yosuke meets up with Tokka (it seems that he's having some bike trouble) and starts to ask about something then changes his mind (I bet it was if Tokka likes Yukiko). Then at lunch both Yosuke and Chie ask Tokka if he wants to hang out after school, but I already planed for Tokka to go to his part time job (he hasn't been since the first day).

Turns out that Tokka isn't the only one getting more attention than they want, after whacking Yosuke for a "private lessons" comment Yukiko mentions how the inn has been getting creepy visitors lately that has been putting her on edge.

After school things go well for Tokka at daycare and on the way home he bumps into the young mother he met last time. Turns out that her name is Eri and that she's having a hard time raising the kid by herself since her husband is always away at work, especially since the kid resents her being his stepmother. After talking with her for a while Tokka develops the temperance social link.

Back at home Dojima has a conversation with Tokka where he basically says that he suspects that something is up with Tokka concerning the murders and wants to be sure that he's not getting into trouble. From this awkward conversation at least forms the hierophant social link.

May 7th

It's another rainy day and things are more ramping up for the midterms, as a couple of anonymous girls mention how good scores will help Tokka's social ranks. As an extra boost Tokka answered an English question right in class and increased his knowledge stat a bit.

Since it's raining Tokka can't go to his part time job like I planed so he picks up a new book to help his understanding stat. Then he stopped by the shrine for a new ema quest, this one is about a girl wanting to end up with her love. Back at school Tokka finds a girl putting a love letter in his locker, unfortunately it's not for him and she got the lockers mixed up, but it turns out that she's the one who wrote the ema.

Since there is nothing else to do Tokka spends the afternoon studying at the library, and it turns out that he gets a bonus for studying while it's raining. Back at home Tokka spent the evening with Nanako since he had already done quite enough studying today. the time spent didn't raise the social link rank but it most likely helped to boost it.

May 8th

It's Sunday, one of the only days that I don't have something scheduled for Tokka (Wednesday being the other) so it's good timing that Chie called him up in the morning. She invites him to the park to be her sparring partner and to exercise with, quite different from Yosuke just wanting to hang out and eat.

And while the off camera training doesn't boost either of their physical levels it does add another rank to the chariot social link. Back at home Tokka takes in one more study session before the start of midterms tomorrow.

May 9th

First day of midterms and Chie is nervous since she didn't study enough. Hey, it was her idea to spend yesterday training. The midterms themselves just consisted of answering all the questions tokka already got right previously in class.

May 10th

Did they not even let the students out of the building since yesterday? as soon as one text is over it passes to the next day and Tokka is still in the same seat. Tokka gets all the questions right again of course.

May 11th

Day 3 of being trapped in the school, the water supply is getting low and the last of the miso is gone. This test needs to end soon or people will start dying, at least Tokka is doing well.

May 12th

It's finally over! Aside for some first years resorting to cannibalism the test went well and on the last day there wasn't even any questions that Tokka needed to answer. It seems like Chie and Yosuke didn't do to well but at least Yukiko passed, the results should be posted in a few days.

And no sooner than the midterms are over than the next plot point comes up, nice of it to wait. It seems that a local biker gang has been making a lot of ruckus and some how some 1st year student is involved in it.

At Tokka's soccer practice today the team got a new manger, a girl named Ai, but it turns out that she's just doing it so she doesn't fail the year and she doesn't give a flying fig about the team.

Most of the team members fall for her on sight and some are not even swayed by her bad attitude, but the coach has a different view. Seems that for some reason he's sworn off girls and that he finds them all annoying, now weather that means he prefers older women or guys or just no one is still unclear. The little talk does build the strength social link a rank though.

May 13th

After a non eventful day at school Tokka goes to his day car job and bumps into Eri again. she expresses how she feels judged by the other mothers there and wishes that her husband could be around like fathers on TV are. This all boosts the temperance social rank.

Back at home there is a news report about the biker gangs but it's broken up by a white haired kid in a skull shirt. Dojima recognizes him, despite the feeble blur across the face, as Kanji Tatsumi, some one who got in trouble with the police after kicking the biker gang out last time they were there.

May 14th

It's raining tonight and the plot points are moving so you know what that means... The Midnight Channel! While everyone hopes they don't see any one, inevitably some one does show up an it looks a lot like Kanji from the shadow.

So tomorrow it's to Junes to discuss it with the gang!
