Professor Jerkface reminds the class that midterms are coming up next week and that everyone has to study for them. Also, for some one so hellbent against teenage promiscuity he doesn't seem to be above using it as motivation for studying... After class I have Tokka visit the quiz student and this time get the question right, my reward is 3 chest keys, which equates to 3 rare items!

Today I has Tokka scheduled to take his drama class but it seems all clubs have been put on hold so people can study, and since it's raining Tokka can't go to his daycare job either. So I decide to put Tokka up to the super noodle bowl challenge again, and even though he fails it many of his stats increase, including his courage going up another rank.

Unfortunately when Tokka gets home he gets a call from Dojima that the upcoming vacation has to be canceled (was expecting as much). Seems that some idiot has been using forklifts to knock over ATMs and the officer in charge of the case is off sick (I bet he just started golden week early). Before going to sleep I have Tokka study for his midterms.

May 3rd
It's the start of "golden week" vacation (although technically the 29th was the start, but Tokka had school on the 30th and 2nd), and since there is no school my plan to have Tokka go to soccer practice was scrapped. But as it turns out the day was not a waist since Chie came by to invite Tokka and Nanako for a day out.

Of course Nanako wanted to go to Junes (she's obsessed with that place, most likely the only person in town who is), and the three of them meet up with Yosuke and Yukiko at the food court. While talking Yosuke brings up Nanako's mother, and she informs the group that her mother died many years ago, but she's happy she has her father.

In the course of the evening Nanako becomes friends with the group and becomes close to Tokka, now calling him her "big bro", and this creates the justice social link. Once again before going to sleep I have Tokka study for his midterms.

May 4th
Another day off from school for Tokka, not that I have anything planed for him on Wednesdays, and before I can decide what to do with him Yosuke calls. He asks Tokka if he wants to hang out with him and whoever else he can round up, since it's as good a plan as any I have Tokka accept.

Turns out the people he finds are the coaches, and Tokka brings along Nanako who of course wants to go to Junes. After some awkward moments discussing if Nanako is cute or not and if you could fall into such a big TV no social links were advanced but they were strengthened a bit. Once again it was time to hit the books for Tokka when he got home.

May 5th
Last day of vacation and Tokka gets it into his head to visit some place in town he has never been before. Of the 3 choices available to him I pick the old shrine since there were many rumors around town about a fox living there (turns out i didn't have much of a choice since the 2 other options also end up there).

The rumors sure were true, there's a strange fox with a heart print apron/bib at the shrine. The fox brings Tokka an ema, a wooden plaque used in the Shinto religion that prayers or wishes are written on, which asks for a kid's grandfather's legs to get better and on the back of the ema is also an odd leaf.

The fox then runs off just as an old man comes to the shrine. It turns out that the old man is the grandfather refereed to in the ema and that the attached leaf is the perfect cure for his legs. Being so thrilled that his legs are cured he donates generously to the shrine before speeding off. One the man is gone the fox returns to inspect the offering, and it seems that not only can this fox read emas but also read minds! So Tokka and the fox enter into a sureal partnership where Tokka will fulfill the wishes on emas and the fox will keep the donations (greedy little thing), thus forming the hermit social link (this is weirded than the dog in P3).

Back at home Dojima finally returns having caught the ATM thief (if officer who called in sick ever winds up in the TV realm I'm going to just leave him there for running Nanako vacation!), and he has some gifts for Nanako and Tokka for Children's Day. Nanako got a t-shirt with a cartoon platypus on it that she though was wonderful and Tokka got a pair of green swim trunks that he was not so thrilled about, then it was off for another study session!

Tomorrow it's back to school!
