Well I got up to the first boss of the next world (there seems to be no order to them, like a mega man select screen), and it was a giant armored fire breathing spider. This level was a lot like the first area in the other world, being huge and having short cuts to unlock along the way, it also had several different monsters. There were tough monsters that could only be hurt with percing weapons, fiery salamanders, and fat guards with fire breathing fists that took forever to kill.
The boss it self is ridiculously hard. Not only is it a giant spider wearing metal armor, but it also shoots webs to slow you down and huge fireballs. Due to it's fire nature, even putting my weapon on fire didn't help much, so I'm thinking that I should tackle other areas first and come back to it when I'm stronger.
