Persona 4 - Day 5

April 30th

Pretty straightforwards day. First off at school Tokka gained a rank in his knowledge stat then after school the gang met with Yukiko for ramen and to discuss what's been going on. Yukiko still can't remember who threw her into the TV other than hearing the doorbell right then some one call her and then waking up in the castle.

After talking more about how to stop more attack from happening and how to catch the perpetrator Yukiko decides to join the team also so she can help and find out why some one would want to kill her. Not only does this me I now have a full 4 person party but this boosts the Fool social rank too. After that's settled Yosuke and Tokka manage to get a sample of the girl's ramen but it's too good and they wind up eating it all.

To make up for it the two of them pay for stake dinners at Junes. While there they meet Adachi who basically confirms that the police have no clue what's going on in the case.

After diner the team makes a short trip to the TV realm to pickup a pair of glasses for Yukiko. It turns out that Teddie makes the glasses show how and that his eyes are actually made of the special lenses. Teddie also made by mistake somehow (or was just bored) a pair of gag glasses that Yukiko first tries and then Chie puts on, which triggers a hysterical laughing fit from Yukiko. After that Tokka went home for a quite dinner at which plans for a vacation were discussed and then a night's sleep.

May 1st

With the start some new changes seem to be afoot. It's a Sunday so there is no school for Tokka and no work, so I had him wander around town. Down by the river he bumped into Mr. Namatame, the (now former) politician who was part of the love triangle. He sure didn't seem like a suspect, he seemed more just depressed abut the murder. in the shopping district Tokka also over heard that "Tanaka's Amazing Commodities", the tv shopping program from P3 is coming back! Unfortunately Tokka doesn't even have enough money to buy Yukiko new equipment, let along the expensive items on that show.

Another returning face is the creepy looking guy who tried to ask Yukiko out the first day Tokka was at school. He was hanging out in the shopping district talking about what idiots the police are for not solving the case yet. Also in the shopping district was Chie, who suggested stopping by the TV realm so Yukiko could get some training. Having nothing better to do with Tokka I agreed and it's a good thing I did since it looks like some powerful shadow has taken up residence in the castle.

After several levels of grinding to make it back to the top of the castle, I find that the powerful shadow is a larvae variation of the king shadows. fortunately this one doesn't summon minions, but it is hard as nails, not weak to fire, and worst all has a random rampage attack that kills nearly everyone! after several rounds of being killed off I decided that the team needs to level a lot more before stopping this thing and sent Tokka back home for the night.
