I managed to get to the last of the supports holding up the big tentacle ball thing, and it came crashing down. Surprisingly it did not turn out to be the next boss fight, it was just an obstacle and the fall killed it. The real boss fight turned out the be against a powerful manticore type thing on a bridge.
Aft first I did rather well against it, getting it's health down to about a third my first try, and then a second one showed up... It's just getting cheap having to fight TWO giant flying magic things on a narrow bridge, where more often then not I wind u dying from being pushed off! At least the boss fight is not too far from the spawn point, now that the big ball thing is gone.
I'm going to try and just level the heck up, at least 10 levels, and maybe then this game won't be as punishing.
