Got two more achievements today but I'm still far from finished.
First, after blowing up many deathclaws and giant scorpions I got the 10,000 explosive damaged achievement. Now the tricky part is beating 10,000 points of health out of various things with melee weapons. I'm off to a good start though since I have a handy cattle prod that knocks out most things in a couple hits, allowing me to beat them while they are on the ground (or move on to another target).
The other achievement I got was to find 125 locations, but that still leave over 60 locations left to find, and I haven't even started on the quests or collecting all the companions.
While exploring I didn't find too much that stood out, at least not compared to the rest of New Vegas. The southern end of the map seems to be where most of the nukes fell, since there I found a radioactive town, a radioactive trench, a and radioactive pond in 3 separate locations.
