I finished off the haunted mines and then, after completing any remaining side quests for that area, flew off to the Imperial City where so far I've mostly just been around seeing what side quests I could find. First I sorted out the problem between two masters in a dojo (one was insane and one was dead). Next I found that just like KotOR and Oblivion there was an arena in the game, but due to plot pacing I could only get to the next level after i complete an other quest point.
The odd thing is that since the beginning I have been using the same fighting style and it's been working really well so far. This is odd since one of the main traits of the game is that you can collect and use many different styles, but so far I haven't had an need to even try any other style other than the one that restores magic. Maybe as I get further in the game the opponents will be too strong and I'll have to change styles.
