Progress!

Either my grinding is paying off or I just lucked out, but I actually made progress in the game today!

I started off exploring the second area of the pleague clifs, and now it's a giant poisons swamp! the monsters there are not that difficult, but it's more a matter of the lace being so huge that I have to do a huge amount of backtracking every time that I die. So after several frustrating attempts, I decided to have a change of pace and grind some more in the mountain area. Once I gained several more levels there I thought to try my hand at the giant blind boss again, this time equipped with tons of arrows and a ring that improves my stealth. The ring seemd to do the trick since I was able to run around shooting the demon with out it being able to track me down, and after a long fight I finally killed it.

Then, after going back to the hub area and returning to spirit form, I set out into the third area, which was the final boss battle of that world, against a giant flying sting ray. Amazingly I was able to kill it with my remaining arrows and health herbs! With it dead I not only have 1/5th of the worlds finished, but it also opened up the path in the first castle world! I'm finally feeling that things are getting done in the game, and it's not just constantly beating me down.
