Completed Metroid: Other M with 100% of the items, but there was no alt ending, just Samus saying congratulations.
For the most art I thought the game was juts going to be an open world to get any items I missed, but when I unlocked the last new area I was surprised to find myself in a boss fight with a giant version of Phantoon from Super Metroid! I just barely won the fight with my health going between 0 and 1...
In the end it turns out that what Samus went after was the commander's helmet, which he forgot when he ran off to warn her abut the AI mother Brain.
All in all the game was really fun, but it seemd shot, a little less than Prime 3. I hope they make a sequel though and fix the issues that this one had...
On a sucking note, today my DS fell out of my shirt pocket as I was leaning over and some how hit at just the wrong point that it no longer turns on any more... So I'll have to get a 2nd hand one cheap to tide me over till the 3DS comes out.
Tomorow it's back to the chaos and crime of Saint's row 2, and maybe a new DS...
