Chain of command

Finished a couple more chapters of PoR and things are changing quickly.

After a tough battle that took 4 tries the father of the main character dies in a cut-scene fight against a Darth Vader looking knight, and now the main character is running the mercenary group. So now between battles there is a Home Base menu that seems to both makes things easier and more complicated.

There's now a merchant who I can buy and sell weapons from, the ability to talk to the party members out of battle, somethign about awarding exp (haven't looked into it), and the option to save outside of battles. There's most likely even more options that I'll find as I look into the menu more.

Story wise, despite the father's death the group got the princess the the country of the beast people (who appear to morph from humans to animal), but on hearing that the main character was put in charge the heavy and the archer of the group left the party. So tomorrow I'll be learning about the new base menu and maybe looking for new recruits.
