40 to 4

Not sure if I'm getting better or worse at this game...

so far I'm over 50% paid off from the debt (unless the pull a Tom Nook ad jack it up just as I get to 10000) and have all 5 colours of Pikmin, but I keep barely scrapping by.

In one cave I went in with Omar, Louie, and 40 pikmin of various kinds, 7 levels later and I just barley completed it with Omar (at 5% health) 1 purple and 3 whites. the main thing that got me was discovering that the things that fall and count down are bombs! I even managed to kill the final boss with just 5 yellows, whom all died in the process, leaving the last 4.

The last area I did before stopping for the night was were I discovered the blue pikmin, but they were behind an electric fence and I only had 2 yellows left. so in a mad dash I got those 2 to cut down a 1 pellet, then those 3 get 3 more pellets, then those 6 and 4 reds get a 10 pellet, and then those 15 and 6 reds get a 20 pellet. When I had about 30 yellows I dragged them to the fence and had then wail on it, and with 5 seconds left in the day it finally came down and I made contact with the blues.

Now that I have the blue pikmin that can go in water it opens up a lot more of the areas to explore tomorrow.
