Which button is to slap Vincent?

In the action segments I got past the 3rd segment, which had one of the weirdest bosses I have ever seen, and the challenges is clearly ramping up.

As for the story line, I'm quickly getting tired of Vincent's indecisive and weak personality. Shinji Ikari was better at facing up to his problems than this guy. He keeps complaining about how screwed he is because he some how keeps unintentionally cheating on Katherine. It's weird, he keeps waking up and some how Catherine is in his bed, but he never remembers how she got there and dosen't just says "I have a girlfriend already!". Also, whenever he's with Katherine he never says "hey, there's this weird girl who keeps breaking into my apartment at night" or very much of anything for that matter. Any time either of the women start making decisions for him he just freaks out bug-eyed with his mouth open. This whole thing would have been solved the first day if he would just spoken up to either of them.

Only time he makes and decisive action is in the action parts where I'm controlling him, I just with I could do the same in the story parts aside for limited e-mail answers...
