After going through the caves again, both sides of the party finally reunite just in time for a rather good boss fight. The boss fight was against two large stone head, one with fire powers and the other with ice, and it wound up being challenging while not drawing out too long like previous fights. After that it turns out that the "treasure" just just a single coin and a note that explains how the teamwork needed to get through the caves is the best treasure any one could have.
When the group heads back to the nearby city the empire attacks and they are captured and brought back to the capital again. Fortunately the crew of the guy who picked up Vyse is coming, along with his stalker in the pink ship, and even the prince of the empire is helping by keeping their escape attempt quiet (he's none too happy with his mum acting insane).
So tomorrow it's time once again to escape the capital (after getting the moon crystals back I hope) and go back to saving the world.
