Well the preparations I made for the battle seemd to pay off since it was rather easy. After an unnecessarily pre-rendered battle the game switches a hall where my character is facing off against a large amount of bad-guys from all side, and the game was nice enough to remove m part members for no reason. Fortunately I noticed this before the battle started and quickly equipped them again.
After trouncing the invading forces I'm told by the Jedi that I'm to gather all the other missing Jedi and bring them all to Dantooine, so now I not only have a plot but a quest too, this is shaping up to be an actual game (after 8 hours).
On the way back to my ship a local repair man complains to me how the fighting made his job harder, well boo hoo. Then I used my droid to fix a local protocol droid (didn't know till recently that when using a part member in a conversation you have their skills) and the droid recognizes my character from when the were a Jedi. Upon hearing this the mechanic freaks out that I'm a jedi and goes to warn everyone, despite that everyone knows that the jedi just saved them in that big battle he was complaining about.
This game seems to have a lot of problems with continuity and sub-quests that can be broken when done out of order.
Well on to another planet tomorrow.
